We started early on the organization. The kiddos are helping out a great deal. My son moved back in August into my craft room. Today all my racks came down and he brought his dresser in. He had his stuff in boxes and in my racks. I'm sad I lost my room, but now I'm looking into having an out building.
My daughter is thoroughly cleaning and organizing the kitchen. We got a new counter top appliance and she wants to try it out. It's a Ronco rotisserie thing. My mother-in-law got it for us for Christmas. I am trying to cut down on the stuff on my counter and I get more.
Now, sending item to the Gospel Mission to be donated.
Life goes by too fast and we often look for quick and fast ways to do things. Turn around and we see that everything else has changed. I want to talk about my fight with depression, overweight, teaching special needs, ways to do things such as canning, crafting, parenting, grandparenting, trying to do things as natural, but as safe as possible. Coupon hints, money saving strategies, food preparations, Whatever else I can come up with.

My plans
This should be fun, I hope. I don't usually make new year resolutions but this year, I'm going for it. I'm not going to resolute to lose weight, I knowci want achieve that, but I'm going to resolute to be more organized. I've gone back to school to get my masters, so being more organized is going to be helpful. I just got to get my family on track with it.
BlackBerry time
The large ones are from my garden. The smaller ones from the secret field from where Chuck and I picked them, and the chiggers picked us.
Ending the Old Year and starting the New Year a little differently
This past year, my son moved out, and moved back in. I started working on my masters of applied behavior analysis with an emphasis in autism. My daughter is 17. My husband worked three months, was sent home from his job, on his birthday after being injured. He has surgery on his shoulder in May and returned back to work in September, only to resign from his job in October due to injuries that would not allow him to properly do his job. He was an EMT for the local ambulance district. It is a stressful job on mind and body and he is not getting any younger. That's another story for another day.
While on my Christmas break from school, I haven't stopped working. I had some frozen chicken broth in the freezer, got that out and canned about 9 pints along with 5 pints of vegetable broth. It is hard to find vegetable broth in the store near where I live, so I decided to make it up and can it. Sounds productive, doesn't it.
I plan to make up some grape jelly before I return back to school. I have some frozen grape juice from this summer. My mother-in-law gave me a lot of concord grapes someone had raised. My husband and I mushed them into juice and I froze it to save it for doing it this time of year. I've not made grape jelly, I've made other kinds. Well see how it goes.
