Finally seeing some rain

When I talked to Chuck last night, they were on their way from San Antonio to Beaumont taking a patient back home. He was in Houston while I was talking to him. He started seeing spots on the windshield. It was rain. The first rain they had seen while being there. They had heard that parts of Texas had some wind damage. They did not know where they would be going after they go there.

Today, I did not get to talk to him until after I got home from work. He was in Longview Texas. I asked where that was at, he said he did not know, but it was nice and green. He was getting some drizzeling rain there as well. He thinks they were at a staging for help, there where large trailers full of supplies sitting on the parking lot. Longview is on the northern, eastern side of Texas, almost to Arkansas.

They are at a center at Longview. He got word that they have to be out of there tonight, a meeting is going to be held there. The city is looking for some place for them. There are some empty buildings, but they are not completed, so they cannot stay there for the night, city codes stuff. One group that they were with has left for Louisana. They think they are being kept close for what is upcoming this weekend. They just don't have a place for them for the night.
