I have spoken to Chuck four times today and plans keep changing. Last night, they thought they would have to evacuate a hospital, but by 11 pm, they did not go anywhere. When they got back inside of the center, they had lost their cots to some other people. They slept on the floor. At 2 am, there was an announcement for some volunteers, when they got up, Chuck and other took their cots. The volunteers did not go anywhere, they had to sleep on the floor.
At 12, he was sitting in the truck waiting to go somewhere, they did not know. All the cots had been taken up and the center evacuated. When I talked to him again at 3:20, they where on their way to San Antonio again. They were the last of 50 out of 300 to leave Beaumont. I think he is ready to come home.
The weather is hot and sunny on their way to San Antonio.
