We have not heard from John in a few days, actually a week. Chuck called him last night to check to see if they are still doing what ever it is that they are doing.
Now, you have to keep in mind that I am getting my information second hand from Chuck and I could be missing out on some stuff, but I try to get in what I can and make it as interesting as I can.
Here is what I have so far,
1. They have not eating one MRE. Not a single one. They are eating really well and gainging weight. I think they have to start walking or something to get it off.
2. The rig is still not fixed, so they have put all of SToddard Country strike team in IC. How funny is that. They were told that if they get called again to do this in the future, that they will be put in IC. Chuck will now want to go with that. They send out the trucks and they know where they are going and when they return. The drivers may not know, but those sending them out will.
3. I don't know where they are sleeping, but it sounds like a good set up. At least they are not paying for the accomodations. They are getting plenty of rest and food.
I am sure that there is more, but I don't remember. I will have to get back and write some more later today.
However, it sounds like they are all doing will.
They are in Houston, San Antonion in no longer staging, it has been closed out. They are talking about sedning them home sometime this week, but we have all heard that before, and someone is going to have to get that rig fixed.
Life goes by too fast and we often look for quick and fast ways to do things. Turn around and we see that everything else has changed. I want to talk about my fight with depression, overweight, teaching special needs, ways to do things such as canning, crafting, parenting, grandparenting, trying to do things as natural, but as safe as possible. Coupon hints, money saving strategies, food preparations, Whatever else I can come up with.
