Chuck talked to John this afternoon and they are still in San Antonio. There were to go for a mission last night, but then was canceled. The ambulance without the air is still in the shop and the other one was taken in for a computer update.
They are eating really well. They get a boxed lunch but for supper, they get really good food. Last night, they had ribs. I doubt they came from Hickory Log or Dexter BBQ. They have a tv room and quite a bit of comforts. This team has it a lot better than the first team. John said that the strike team leader is a little nuts. He must be pumped by too much caffeine, through too much coffee or Red Bull. John said that he was just a little on the scary side. (I guess too much energy).
The weather there was nice. It had cooled off somewhat, but still a little too warm. There has been a nice breeze all day.
Everyone else was doing fine.
Life goes by too fast and we often look for quick and fast ways to do things. Turn around and we see that everything else has changed. I want to talk about my fight with depression, overweight, teaching special needs, ways to do things such as canning, crafting, parenting, grandparenting, trying to do things as natural, but as safe as possible.
